Current Projects:
 

1.   Provision of Consultant Services for Improved Access to Quality Health Care through establishment of Sub-center and Mobile Health team which is GAVI Health System Strengthening Grant Project, through this grant four sub center and one mobile health team is providing health care services to Takhar community. It is started from Sept 2008 and last till 2011.

2.   Provision of Consultant Services for Improved Access to Quality Health Care through establishment of Sub-center which is GAVI Health System Strengthening Grant, through this grant four sub center are providing health care services to Badakhshan community. It is started from November 2008 and last till February 2012.

  1. Lab-Technician support grant was funded by WHO for providing of lab service only for screening of Malaria cases through BHCs in Takhar and Badakhshan province started from 01 June 2009 and ended on June 31, 2011.
  2. Implementation of Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) in all districts of Takhar province with support of USAID through Partnership Contract for Health services (PCH) MoU # PCH-18-TKHR-C1-CAF-BPHS in partnership with SHDP as sub agency. CAF is the leading agency in this project. This project is started in Nov 24, 2009 and will continue till Nov 23, 2011. A total Population of 870900 is receiving health services through this project.
  3. Implementation of Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) in cluster 1 of Badakhshan province with support of USAID through Partnership Contract for Health services (PCH) MoU # PCH-01-BSHN-C1-CAF-BPHS in partnership with BARAN as sub agency. CAF is the leading agency in this project. This project is started in Nov 24, 2009 and will continue till Nov 23, 2011. A total Population of 537400 is receiving health services through this project.
  4. CAF started the Baby Friendly Village project, to improve the nutrition status of young children through focus not just on their mothers but also on other family and village members, in 4 districts of Takhar province from Oct, 2009 to 15th April 2011. The project funded by World Bank.
  5. CAF started the “Infant and Young Children Feeding” innovative project in Takhar, Badakhshan and Kunduz provinces funded by UNICEF. The project started from Oct, 2009 and will last for 31 April, 2011.
  6. CAF as sub recipient of BRAC as principle recipient started Round-8 Global Fund TB-control project in Takhar and Kunduz provinces from Oct, 2009 till 31 March, 2011.
  7. Implementation of integrated child survival project (ICSP) in Farkhar district of Takhar province funded by USAID/BASICS started from 15 Nov 2008 and will continue to 15 Aug 2011.
  8. Integration of people with disabilities in Afghanistan in Kabul, Kapisa and Parwan districts with partnership of BARAN and financial support of European commission (EC) from 01 Jan, 2010 to 30 Jun, 2012.
  9. Implementation of Basic Package of Health Services (BPHS) in Kunduz Province in partnership with Merlin through financial support of European commission (EC). The project is started on Sep 01 2009 and will continue till Oct 30, 2011, delivering of health service for the community of Kunduz province through 45 health facilities and 240 health posts.
  10. Community mobilization intervention (CMI) project funded by Save the Children in Bangi district of Takhar province from Oct 01, 2010 to May 31, 2011.
  1. Afghan sustainable water supply and sanitation project implemented in 2 districts of Badakhshan province funded by USAID/ARD started from Nov 24, 2010 and ended on May 24, 2011.
  2. Afghan sustainable water supply and sanitation project implemented in 2 districts of Takhar province funded by USAID/ARD started from Nov 24, 2010 and ended on May 24, 2011.
  3. Afghan sustainable water supply and sanitation project implemented in 2 districts of Badakhshan province funded by USAID/ARD started from March 24, 2011 and will end on Sep 24, 2011.
  4. Afghan sustainable water supply and sanitation project implemented in 2 districts of Takhar province funded by USAID/ARD started from March 24, 2011 and will end on Sep 24, 2011.
  5. Lab-Technician support grant was funded by Global fund trough Ministry of Public health for providing of lab service only for screening of Malaria cases through 10 BHCs in Takhar province.
  6. Result based financing project funded by World Bank in Takhar province started from Dec, 2010 and will continue till Nov 2011. The project strengthens the quality and quantity of health services in current BPHS project through payment of incentive to health workers based on their performances.
  7. Result based financing project funded by World Bank in Badakhshan province started from Dec, 2010 and will continue till Nov 2011. The project strengthens the quality and quantity of health services in current BPHS project through payment of incentive to health workers based on their performances.
